‘You can see it’… Pat Bonner shares what he noticed about Brendan Rodgers after Celtic’s Scottish Cup win
Pat Bonner has shared one thing he noticed about Brendan Rodgers after Celtic beat St Mirren in the Scottish Cup yesterday.
The former Celtic hero was listening to Rodgers‘ post-match interview and said that the Hoops gaffer looked and sounded very different from how he has been over the past few weeks.
ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚBonner said [], “It’s incredible isn’t it and there will come a day when that will change [Rodgers’ unbeaten Scottish Cup run].
꧒“He’s very, very happy. You can see it from his voice in the conversation there.
🌺“He’s through to the next round and it keeps the momentum going.”
Rodgers has looked a bit downtrodden over recent weeks. The 💟negativity surrounding the January transfer window🍸 and the poor performances of the team have put the Celtic boss under a little bit of pressure recently.
However, the battling 2-1 win over Hibs at Easter Road🔥 midweek coupled with the victory in Paisley yesterday caps off a good week for the Celtic manager.
Goals from Adam Idah on Wednesday and now Kyogo looking back to his best after a surprising tactical change🐽 means that Rodgers can now plan ahead to Saturday’s home game against Kilmarnock with a little bit less pressure.
🦹Rodgers has now negotiated three tricky away fixtures and whilst the draw against Aberdeen was a disappointment there were positives to take from Pittodrie.

ꦇNew Bhoys, Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah looked impressive against The Dons and Idah has carried that on in the last two away wins.
With two goals against Hibs and creating what could be a very productive partnership with Kyogo Furuhashi in Paisley yesterday, there are plenty of positives꧋ to take as Rodgers now looks to get one over on Derek McInnes in the 3pm kick-off at Celtic Park on Saturday.
