Yannick Bolasie makes Lewis Dobbin claim as Everton lose

Everꦑton suffered a poor 1-0 defeat to Br🍎entford on Sunday as Ivan Toney scored – and Yannick Bolasie thinks Lewis Dobbin should have played.

Toney𝄹 got the only goal of the game from the penalty spot, as Everton’s dismal run of form continues. They have now gone without a 🎉win in seven.

Five of th🐠ose have resulted in losses, failing to score in their last three outings against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City 🃏and now Brentford.

Everton miss Dom Calvert-Lewin, with summer signing Salomon Rondon struggling to have an impact.🅰 Dobbin, 18, was on the bench.

Dobbin has been promoted to the 23’s of late, after having a hand in 25 goals during h🥃is 36 Under-18 appeara🦩nces for the club.

With Everton in nee🎃d of a goal, Rafa Benitez decided to overlook Dobbin – even for the last 10 minutes. Bolasie has criticised the de🐟cision.

Bolasie on Dobbin: Should Benitez have used Everton teenager?

Well, they need to try something different. Dobbin is certainly something different – it would have given Everton fans a bit o🌠f hope at least.

It will have s💦truck a chord with despondant supporters who are becoming fed up with their ex-Liverpool gaffer already.

Instead, ex-Everton players are now crit𒀰icising Benitez. Things only look destined to go one way. Their next two games; Liverpool and Arsenal.

Benitez needs to tr🦂y something new and quickly,𝔍 or face the sack just a few months into the Everton job. Dobbin might have given at least some hope.
