‘Wow’… Micah Richards stunned by how good one Liverpool player has been this season
Micah Richards has admitted he’s surprised by how quickly Wataru Endo has adapted to Premier League football at Liverpool.
💝The Japanese midfielder has put in some exceptional displays at Anfield of late and caught the eye in yesterday’s draw with Manchester City.
Wataru Endo was snapped up by Liverpool for just after Jurgen Klopp’s side missed out on Moises Caicedo.
While Liverpool꧂ fans may have been underwhelmed by the signing at the time, Endo has proven many of his doubters wrong this term.
𓆏The 31-year-old is arguably among the best defensive midfielder in the league on current form.
And Micah Richards꧅ has admitted he wasn’t expecting Endo to have such a huge impact for the Reds in his debut campaign.

ℱ“Endo in midfield. Wow. When he came to Liverpool I was thinking ‘Ok, good experienced player’. But I didn’t think he could get to the levels of that in terms of the intensity of the game,” Richards said.
🍌“I know the Bundesliga is back and forth but I thought he was outstanding in the middle of the park yesterday, he really was.”

Endo has certainly stepped up and has already 𓄧formed a good understanding with fellow summer signing Alexis Mac Allister.
