What Wolves now plan to do about Matheus Cunha amid Nottingham Forest and Arsenal interest
Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha is reportedly on course to be the subject of a club record bid from Nottingham Forest.
The Wolves ace is one of t༒he most highly sought-after players on the m꧅arket, with interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
TBR Football revealed just before the January transfer window Cunha is a target for Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester Uni🍃ted, Liverpool and Newcastle United.
Sky Sports News reported earlier on Wednesday that Nottingham Forest are re🍷ady to mak🍬e a club-record bid for Cunha.
Now, journalist Kaveh Solhekol has provided an update, highlighting Wolves’ stance towards Cunha’s future amid interest from Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and elsewhere.

Wolves adamant Matheus Cunha is not leaving amid Nottingham Forest and Arsenal links
Solhekol, speaking on Sky Sports News, said Wolves are adamant that Cunha is not for sale in the Januar🅷y transfer window despite interest from Forest and Arsenal.
Wolves see Cunha as a crucial part of their team as they fight for Premier League survival, and the Molineux club is said to🎃 be relaxed about his contract situation.
Despite a new contract not being signe🌃d, it is understood this has no immediate impact on 𝔍his future at Wolves, according to Solhekol.
The journalist also said Wolves are not in any financial pressure to Sell Cunha, as they 𝄹made over £90million from the sales of Pedro Neto and Max Kilman last s💃ummer.
“To those interested in Cunha – the message is clear from Wolves; they have received no offers, no contact has been made from othe🎀r clubs but – most importantly – he is not for sale,” he concluded.
Cunha stance towards Wolves
Although Wolves are eager to keep hold of Cunha, Solhekol previously reported that the player himself is currently no♓t happy with the club.
Solhekol reported that Cunha is “ext𝓰remely upset” that he was singled out for criticism by manager Vitor Pereira after Wolves lost at Chelsea on Monday night.
F🐠or context, Pereira said he did not like Cunha’s body language during🅠 the game.
Cunha has a winning mentality and it’s only natural that he would feel down after another damaging defeat – he𝔉 feels 🐼he did nothing wrong, according to Solhekol.
