Why Matheus Cunha is ‘extremely upset’ at Wolves as Nottingham Forest prepare record-breaking bid to sign him

Nottingham Forest are reportedly ready to make a club-record offer for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha.

Nottingham Forest, who are flying high in the Premier League this season, are among a number of English top-flight clubs interested in the Wolves ace.

TBR Football revealed just after Christmas that Cunha is a target for Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester Uni🥃ted, Liverpool and Newcastle ༺United.

Tottenham Hotspur are admirers of Cunha as well🅰 and were ready to♔ hold talks with his agents over a move in this window.

Now, Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has spoken about Forest’s concrete interest in Cunha, and why the playe📖r is also “very upset” at Wolꦰves.

Matheus Cunha upset with Vitor Pereira criticism after Chelsea game

S▨olhekol, speaking on Sky Sports News, said Forest are now ready to make a club-record offer for Cunha.

It is thought that an offe🐎r of around £60million could be enough to tempt Wolves to sell thi♕s month.

Cunha’s present deal runs out in 2027 and he has been offered a new Wolves contract, but ⛎is said to be unlikely t🌟o sign at the moment.

Solhekol reported that Cunha is extremely upset that he was singled out for criticism by manag🌠er Vitor Pereira after Wolves lost at Chelsea on Monday night.

For context, 🥂Pereira said he did not like Cunha’s🦄 body language during the game.

Cunha has a winning mentality and it’s only natural that he wou🅰ld𝔍 feel down after another damaging defeat – he feels he did nothing wrong, according to Solhekol.
