Why Fulham must match up against Manchester City with confidence

When M𝄹anches🌞ter City arrive at Craven Cottage, few will predict Fulham will give the title chasers much of a scare this afternoon.

But considering Fulham’s⭕ recent home performances against the Premier League’s big clubs♔, the Whites must enter the match with confidence that they can pull of a shock.

The claim may sound luꦅdicro🐼us when considering Fulham have won just once in all of 2019 and sit second from last in the table.

But when l𒉰ooking at the Whites’ results against the best sides in the division, a different story emerges than a relegation struggler failing to compete.

Against Tottenham Hotspur in January, Fulham went up 1-0, battled admirably, and cruelly lost on a laℱst-second Harry Winks winner.

And just two weeks ago, Liverpool were fortunate to escape SW6 ✅with three points after James Milner’s late penalty.

Fulham have shown that they are not ove👍rawed by the occasion of welcoming Champions League teams to the Cottage,♏ attacking with aplomb and keeping the scores close for large stretches.

In a depressingly dismal season for Fulham, an upset victory over Manchester City would provide a welcome boost after so many close calls agai🦹nst the Premier League giants.
