When Micky van de Ven could now be back for Tottenham after suspected hamstring injury reoccurrence

Tottenham Hotspur are currently in the midst of an injury crisis that is affecting the club on the results front.

Spurs haven’t won in four games and have lost their last two Premier League matches to leave them 11th in the table.

However, Tottenham remain in a good position in the Europa League🌠, sitting ninth in the table, but level on points with the three teams above them.

꧒Spurs are now set to take on Scottish Premiership giants Rangers at Ibrox and could leapfrog the Glasgow side in the Europa League table with victory on Thursday.

That said, Tottenham’s job is being made harder due to missing a host of key players, with Micky van de Venಌ seemingly set for another spell on the sidelines.

🔯Now, journalist Paul O’Keefe has shared what he’s heard about the Dutchman’s injury situation and when he could be back.

Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven could be out for ‘maybe two or three weeks’

♊Van de Ven returned to the Tottenham starting XI against Chelsea at the weekend but pulled up late in the match with a fresh hamstring issue.

📖If Van de Ven is not back until three weeks from Wednesday, his first game back would be the Premier League fixture against Newcastle until 4 January.

ไFellow centre-back Cristian Romero also started for Spurs against Chelsea, but he lasted just 14 minutes before being forced off with a quad injury.

What Ange Postecoglou has said about Van de Ven and Romero injury

ꦅTottenham manager Ange Postecoglou spoke to the media on Wednesday, where he spoke about the situation with his first-choice centre-backs.

🥃“We’re still getting some clarity around their prognosis,” he told . “But both have picked up injuries that will keep them out again.

♈When asked whether Van de Ven has suffered the same hamstring injury, Postecoglou said: “It’s the same side.

🅺“Whether it’s the same one, we’ve just got to get clarity on whether it’s exactly the same spot or a new spot.”

Tottenham have a number of injury and illness issues, with 🐭Mikey Moore predicted to be out until the New Year as he continues to recover from a virus.
