What Pep Guardiola has said on his relationship with Kevin De Bruyne following ‘rift’ claims

Kevin De Bruyne signed for Manchester City♛ in 2015 and has gone on to become one of the club’s most prestigious players, making 267 Premier League appearances so far.
Yet despite returning from a pelvic injury, manager Pep Guardiola💮 is yet to include De Bruyne in his starting eleven since mid-September.

Speaking to , ahead of the upcoming clash with Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City boss Guardiola has denied that he has fallen out with his 33-year-old midfielder – after Micah Richards🐟 claimed there seemed to be a ‘rift’ between the pair.
ಞGuardiola stated, “People say I’ve got a problem with Kevin. Do you think I like to not play with Kevin? No, I don’t want Kevin to play? The guy who has the most talent in the final third, I don’t want it? I have a personal problem with him after nine years together?”
ꦛDe Bruyne has recently been linked with San Diego FC🌠 but Guardiola is adamant there has been no falling out between the pair and realises the importance of the playmaker.

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville thinks De Bruyne absence is ‘bizarre’
🍨Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast, Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville believes there is more to the story going on behind the scenes at Manchester City.
🐟Neville stated that he believed De Bruyne’s absence was “Unusual, bizarre, strange.”
🙈Neville then went on to question Guardiola’s repeated admission of the Belgian midfielder, “Why is probably the best player that the Premier League has had in the last 10 years, why is he not out there?”
ꦫ“We know he’s had injuries, but why is he not out there, because he’s a leader, he’s got authority, he’s got confidence, he’s got brilliance. So something’s going on, something’s definitely going on in the dressing room. There’s something happening.”
