TBR Football have learned what Liverpool and Real Madrid are thinking after Arsenal made a £50.5m move to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

Mikel Arteta is understood to be a huge admirer of the Spain international – who actually rejected the chance to join Arsenal and Liverpool last summer – due to hisඣ stunning performances at Real Sociedad.

Sources inform TBR Football that Zubimendi – who Ian Wright rates highly –ꦉ is now ready to leave San Sebastien once the 2024/25 campaign is over, with Arsenal making an early move to secure his signature.

Talks are ongoing between A🌟rsenal – who are willing to pay his €60m (£50.5m) release clau🐼se – and Real Sociedad, with personal terms close to being agreed as well.

There are – however – two other sides who admire Martin Zubimendi, with TBR Football receiving inf🌞ormation on wh♛ether they will challenge Arsenal for the Spaniard.

The Scotlan♑d international said: “You have world class players like Zubimendi… It’s not that people don’t think they’re good, it’s just that if you’re only watching the Premier League every week, it’s hard to know.”

TBR Football understand Tierney wants to join Celtic – however – so he may not get the chance to pl🦋ay with the Spain international again at Arsenal next season.
