What Florentino Perez has in mind as Liverpool respond to Real Madrid approach for Trent Alexander-Arnold

TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Liverpool have received an approach from Real Madrid for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Reds right-back is out of 🍌contract at the end of the season, meaning non-English clubs can speak directly to him about a pre-contract agreement from 1 January.

Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool future remains uncertain and, with just months remaining un💯til his contract ♐expires, clubs are already starting to circle.

Now, TBR Football correspondent Graeme Bailey can confirm that Liverpool have turned down an approach from Real Madrid for Alexander-Arnold.

Sources have confirmed to TBR Footballไ that Florentino Perez made con𒀰tact with Liverpool owners FSG about the prospect of a January deal.

However, Liverpool made it clear to the Bernabeu outfit thꦺat they would not consider a sale🧜.

No fee was discussed, but Perez wanted to check on situation ღbefore commencing talks over a possible free transfer.

Alexander-Arnold came through the ranks at Liverpool and has been a key player for years now, with 333 competitive appearances, 20 goals and 85🗹 assists to his name for the Reds.

He has won a Championꩲs League, a Premier League title, an FA Cup, two Carabao Cups, a Community Shield, a UEFA Supercup and a FIFA Club World Cup whilst at Liverpool.

At the ܫweekend, Slot distanced himself from the negotiations with Alexander-Arnold, as well as Virg🍃il van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.

“ဣBut if you’re talking about their private lif🥃e I don’t have control.
