Everton have a problem to deal with regarding Jarrad Branthwaite.

The Toffees possess a top talent in the England international, altho🥂ugh his future at Goodison Park is in doubt as Everton struggle ⭕to agree a new contract with the central defender – amid interest from Manchester United.

TBR Football understand Everton wanted over £80m for Branthwaite last summer after his stellar 2023/24 campaign, although Manchester United eventually decided to spend £52m on Leny Yoro.

Now – however – TBR Football have received fresh information regarding how Everton plan to deal with the Jarrad Branthwaite situation.

Sources have now informed TBR Football that Everton are still attempting to persuade the 22-year-old to🐬 stay on Merseyside by signing an improved contract, but all is not going well.

Branthwaite is believed to hav⛦e been offered terms that would make him♏ one of the highest paid players at Goodison Park, although the Everton No.32 has not accepted the proposal.

TBR Football have also been told that Liverpool and Real Madrid are keen to sign the ma♔n from Carlisle along with Manchester United.

However, even if Everton fail to make progress in contract discussions with Branthwaite, the Toffees will not ✱entertain a sale in the upcoming January transfer window, with the defender still tied to the club until July 2027.

Dan Friedkin – who is set to take over at Goodison Park – has ambitions of restoring the Toffees amongst England’s elite clubs, and is therefore de♐sperate to keep Everton’s best players on Merseyside.
