What Christopher Nkunku thinks about joining Manchester United amid talks with Chelsea
Manchester United are looking for attacking reinforcements and Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku is very much on the Red Devils’ radar.
TBR Football has already revealed that talks between Manchesterౠ United and Chelsea have taken place involving Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho.
Then, journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed that Manchester United hav💯e now ‘seriously entered the race’ to♏ sign Nkunku.
Plettenberg also said Nkunku and Garnacho are even being considered as part of a swap deal between Manchester United and Chelsea.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has revealed Nkunku’s stance towards a potential move to Old Trafford and, while it’s 🌌mostly positive, there is a catch.

Christopher Nkunku would only want to join Manchester United on permanent deal or obligation to buy
Romano has taken to YouTube to say Nkunku curren🦩tly has two options, namel🌟y Man United and Bayern Munich.
And while the Frenchman “could be open” to joining the Red Devils, he’s only keen to do s𒉰o if he’s on their books next season.
Nkunku is interested in either a loan with obligation to buy or a perm𓃲anent move,🧸 according to Romano.
“My understanding 💙is that Christopher Nkunku is not that open, at the moment, to a str💦aight loan,” said Romano.
“So when you see♈ reports on Nkunku going on loan to Man 🦩United, if it’s a loan with obligation, a permanent transfer, Christopher Nkunku could be open.
“If it’s a straight loan or🅷 not guaranteed obligation then at this moment in time, n🥃ot sure this deal could happen.
“So let’s see what happens with Nkunku, Garnacho and for sure Man Utd and Chelsea will be in touch this✤ week to discuss🙈 opportunities.
“But the Nkunku s🏅ituation is not that easy in terms of formula, so they need to cl✱arify that.”
Elsewhere, Manchester United are closing in on a m✃ove for Patrick Dorgu, and Arsenal’s Ayden Heaven is also nearing a swit🐟ch to Old Trafford.
Where Bayern Munich stand in their pursuit of Nkunku
If Man United fail to get their hands on Nkunku, there’s a risk that the 2021/22🐈 Bundesliga Player of the Yeꦡar could return to Germany with Bayern Munich.
🐟Romano said Nkunku will also be open to joining the Bavarians, but Chelsea would only sanction this if they can include a 𝓰player to go the other way.
“Nkunku will be open to going to Bayern, but the only way for Bayern 🍰is to include a player in the deal,” said Romano.
“Chelsea wanted Mathys Tel but at the moment there is no grꦛeen light from Mathys Tel to leave Bayern, let’s see if they can change his mind.
“There is still a possibility f🅠or Mathys Tel to leave but he has Chelsea, and many c𝓡lubs that want to sign him on loan.
“So the situation could be op🦄en in the next days but at the moment still no breakthrough in talks between Mathys Tel and Bayern about what he wants to do.”
