What Ange Postecoglou said to Radu Dragusin to make him change his mind and join Tottenham
There’s no doubt that Ange Postecoglou will have played a huge role in Radu Dragusin’s late choice to join Tottenham Hotspur.
The Romanian centre-back is now on his way to North London having chosen the club🍒 over a move to German champions Bayern Munich.

And whilst Harry Kane preferred to play his football for Bayern, Dragusin decided Totte🀅nham were the right club to fulfill his potential.

ꦅAccording to this report, Postecoglou personally told Dragusin that he would be given regular opportunities in the Tottenham first team.
Thi🌃s was thou🅰ght to be key to the centre-back’s decision – perhaps something that Bayern couldn’t guarantee.
That being said, it’s a bold promise when you consider the form of both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
The latter is never likely to be dropped, he’s a unique left-footed profil🀅e in this squad.
However, Romero may now have cause for concern.
Ange Postecoglou promised Radu Dragusin regular minutes at Tottenham
Perhaps Cristian Romero could now face some consequence for his ill-discipline th😼is season.
Postecoglou has alwa🐷ys publicly backed his defender, despite how ridiculous some of his decision-making has been.

And al💦though Dragusin is unlikely to immediately displace Romero, it could be the case if that continued.
Of course, the Romania꧙n is likely to go straight into the team given Romero will still be injured for a period.
Spurs fans would surely expect Rom💮ero to return to the XI when fit, but that may no longer be a guarantee.
That being said, Spurs might actually benefit from the arrival of another centre-back in the future, with one defender now close to leaving.
Perhaps a fourth centre-ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚback will wai🦄t until the summer, but with Dragusin on board, things are looking a lot brighter for Postecoglou at Tottenham.
