What Andrea Berta is already doing ahead of joining Arsenal

Arsenal have found their new Sporting Director in the shape of Andrea Berta.

Berta is set to join Arsenal from Atletico Madrid, and Ian Wright is very happy with this appointment.

Berta has a big job on his hands if he’s to take Arsenal to the Premier League title next season.

Arsenal already have some summer targets in mind. Arsenal are keen on Alexander Isak, while Ollie Watkins is on Arsenal’s radar too.

Berta is getting ready foꦅr this role, and according to David Ornstein, speaking on The Handbrake Offᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Podcast, Berta has already started to try to improve his English ability.

Andrea Berta is trying to learn English

Ornstein shared what he knows about Berta and🌱 his preparations for taking this job on.

According to the journa♌list, Berta is already working on improving his English, while he’s spending a lot of t꧙ime in the UK already.

“I think they want to fill this position that’s been vacant on a permanent basis, which had been occupied in an interim way by Jason Ayto, who was assistant to Edu, who꧟ resigned in November. And he stepped up and he’s been occupying the role. But now it’s Berta that’s come through the recruitment process, which included Jason Ayto.

“And Berta is going to 🎃come with a wealth of experience from Atletico Madrid. And he’s also worked previously in Italy. He’s 53 years old, Italian.

“He doesn’t speak amazing English, but it’s something he’s🐻 been working on. He’s been spending a lot of time in the UK and London specific✨ally. So Arsenal will hope that they have got the right person to lead them forward.”

Which languages can Andrea Berta speak?

Andrea Berta doesn’t 🎀have the greatest grasp on the English language yet, but he will be able to communicate effectively at Arsenal.

Indeed, as Ornstein says, 🥃Berta does have some grasp of English, while Berta can also speak Spanish after spen🔴ding 12 years in Madrid.

Berta can also speak Italian – hܫis nꦦative language.

The fact that B🌺erta can speak Spanish is a key point. After all, that will allow him t꧒o converse with Mikel Arteta with ease as Arteta is also a native Spanish speaker.

Berta is a very intelligent individual, and it won’t take him long to learn a new language – after all, he’s already learned Spanish, but, in the meantime, at least he’ll be able to eff🍰ectively communicate with Arteta in another language if needed.

Berta’s arrival at Arsenal is imminent, and this could be an exciting new era for th🐭e Gunners.
