West Ham will bid for player compared to Jack Grealish after price drops by over £8m
West Ham are now going to submit a bid for one of Julen Lopetegui’s targets after being told the asking price has dropped.
The Hammers have already spent heavily this summer, splashing £40m to sign Max Kilman from Wolves and a further £26m to lure Luis Guilherme away from Palmeiras.
West Ham have also just submitted a bid to sign Crysencio Summerville from Leeds – who is valued at £50m.

West Ham to bid for Jota Silva
A story from in Portugal now claims that West Ham will bid for Vitória de Guimarães No.11 Jota Silva.
The Portuguese news outlet believe Vitória de Guimarães wanted the Portugal international’s €20m (£16.8m) release clause to be triggered this summer for him to be sold.
However, very few clubs are showing a desire to meet that sum, so the Primeira Liga outfit have now lowered that amount by over £8m to €10m (£8.4m) – due to financial problems that make a significant sale urgent for the Portuguese side.
Record believe this new price tag has alerted West Ham, with the Irons now set to make an offer for Silva.
The man from Gondomar only has 12 months remaining on his contract with Vitória de Guimarães, so if the Portuguese outfit fail to sell him this summer, they risk losing an expensive asset for nothing in 2025 – an outcome which is seemingly not even being considered at the Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques.
Silva scored 15 goals and also provided seven assists in 42 appearances across all competitions last season.
Julen Lopetegui could sign the new Jack Grealish
Silva – aged 24 – is far from a household name in English football, although his playing style has been compared to Jack Grealish.
It was Breaking The Lines who made the comparison in a detailed scouting , in which he was even nicknamed Grealish de Guimarães.
What Silva possesses that the Manchester City No.10 does not – however – is the ability to play anywhere across the frontline.
Vitória de Guimarães used the West Ham target as a striker on occasions last season, but also deployed him on the right 20 times, and six on the left.
Therefore, Lopetegui would be getting his hands on a versatile, young and cheap forward if West Ham can seal this deal for around £10m – be sure to keep an eye out for further developments.
