West Ham fans react as club reportedly eyeing Bournemouth defender Steve Cook

West Ham United are reportedly interested in taking advantage of the ex𝓡tended transfer deadline for deals between Premier League and EFL clubs, by raiding Bournemouth for defender Steve Cook – and Hammers fans have responded on Twitter.

Cook, 29, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at recently-relegated Bournemouth – eight years after joining the club in January 2012. He has since clocked up a whopping 341 appearanc💖es in all competitions for the Cherries.

But his future may now be elsewhe𒊎re than Bournemouth, especially with Bournemouth being relegated.🌳 , West Ham are interested in signing Cook – while Watford giant Craig Dawson is an option.

The Hammers have been after a centre-back for the majority of the summer window. James Tarkowski was linked, as were plenty of options from around Europe ꦛ– including new Leicester City signing Wesley Fofana from St. Etienne.
