‘Undeniable’… Mark Guidi makes concerning Brendan Rodgers claim after what he’s seen at Celtic recently
The January transfer window at Celtic has now raised a lot of concerns about how the club go about its recruitment.
With Celtic being cash-rich and Brendan Rodgers pressing home the need to add quality to the squad,꧒ the supporters were hoping that this would lead to an influx of major signings in January.
As it happened there were just two additions to the squad. Nicolas Kuhn joined for £3m [] and Adam Idah arrived on deadline day on loan for the rest of the season.
And it is the lack of transfer business that has prompted Mark Guidi to claim that there is tr♉ouble behind the scenes at Celtic.
The journalist ꧙branded Celtic’s recruitment as ‘not🌜 good enough’ and said that this isn’t what Rodgers signed up for in the summer.
Guidi said [], “Is this what Brendan Rodgers signed up for in the summer? I’d have to say no. And the chemistry, the dynamics behind the scenes at the football club, you can only 💦surmise, that things are not right.
“Things are no꧋t right. Unless there’s an improvement I think something’s got to give at the football club maybe sooner rather than later.
“Celtic might ꦆstill go on and win the league. But I think if you’re Brendan Rodgers you have to say it’s in spite of what’s going on, not because of what’s going on.
“So there is just something not right෴ at Celtic behꩲind the scenes. I think that’s undeniable.
“And the quality of player that’s coming in, quite frankly, considering the riches that the club have got in the bank, the quality of player that’s cꦓoming in? Not good enough.
Now, I’m not privy to what is going on behind the sce𓃲nes at Celtic but if the manager has been talking for months about adding four players to the squad and he only gets two, does that automatically mean that t🥂here is trouble behind the scenes?

Reports did suggest that when Rodgers was hired,🦩ℱ he would have £30m to spend in the transfer market in the summer. []
And whilst Celtic did spend heavily, half of those players recruited have already been deemed surplus to requirements.
TBR Celtic told this morning how Anthony Joseph shared the real reason why Sydney van Hooijdonk didn’t join the club.
It could just be that the playerไs the clubs were after either weren’t available or were just out o♔f Celtic’s reach in terms of affordability.
What👍ever is going on at Celtic it needs to be resolved. And quick. Because with more dropped points yesterday, they are in real danger of losing the league title this season.
