‘Unbelievable’ Arsenal player is now ready to leave the club but Mikel Arteta just blocked his exit

With Monday’s transfer deadline fast approaching, Arsenal are thought to be upping their efforts to improve Mikel Arteta’s squad for the remainder of the season.

Unfortunately for fans in N5, it currently seems increasingly unlikely that Arsenal will be able to land one of thei🐷r top striker targets, but equally, it would be a surprise if no attacker arrived at London Colney before the deadline.

Arteta’s squad has been d🍸ecimated by key injuries this season, with Bukayo Saka’s absence continuing to be the most signifi♛cant.

And although Raheem Sterling is showing signs of improvement, it’s clear that Arteta needs a bit more help🦂 right now.

That being said, Arsenal might actually be prepared to lose or two faces in more populated areas of the squad before business closes on M⛎onday.

Oleksandr Zinchenko could leave Arsenal, and talk has continued of Jorginho departing north London six-months priorꦑ to his contract ex🌞piring.

Jorginho is prepared to leave Arsenal for Flamengo, but it won’t be this month as Arteta has told the Brazilian side that his squad i🐭s simply too thin on the ground right now.

Sharing his update, Casagrande said: “It’s been hammered down! Jose Boto heard from Arteta that Jorginho will not be released now by Arsenal.♍

“The coach’s main justification is that the English team’s squad is already short due to injuries and there is no time🌺 for signings.

“Now, Flamengo will work with the midfielder’s representatives to sign a pre-contract and secure the player from the middle of the year, before the World C🐭up, with a three-year contract.

“Jorginho has already said ꩵthat he liked Flamengo’s project and is willing to transfer to the Brazil𝓀ian club.”

Jorginho close to agreeing pre-contract with Flamengo

In addition to those reports, Italian jo🤪urnalist is now reporting that Jorginho is very close to signing a pre-contract with Flamengo for the summer.

Accor💝ding to Di Marzio, Jorginho is set to put pen to paper on a three-year-contract that will run un🍌til 2028, a deal that Arsenal would be reluctant to offer the Italian themselves.

Jorginho is now 33-years-old and Arteta is beginning to turn to the ‘‘ midfielder l𝓰ess and less, partly because the likes of Mikel Merino have 🍷arrived.

And given Arsenal want to sign Martin Zubimendi this summer, it does seem like the perfect time for Jorgin𝔉ho to find a new challenge.

However, Arteta still needs Jorginho in the here and now, who will be hoping to fin🃏ally winܫ a trophy with Arsenal this season before he departs.
