Troy Deeney says how he thinks Jack Grealish would do if he signed for Tottenham or Arsenal
Jack Grealish is at a bit of a crossroads in his career right now.
The Manchester City ace hasn’t lived up to that £100m pricetag atܫ The Etihad, and there are murmurs that Grealish could soon be on the move.
Aston Villa were linked with Grealish in the summer, while T🅰ottenham have recently been linked with the winger.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Troy Deeney has been discussing Greal🐽ish’s next career move, and he’s analysed the winger’s options.
Deeney ran down a whole host of P🙈remier Le🍃ague clubs, sharing his verdict on how Grealish would do in each of these teams, and he made an interesting claim about Tottenham.

Jack Grealish would walk into Tottenham’s team
De𝔍eney made an interesting claim about Greali💦sh and Spurs.
The pundit says that he doesn’t want Grealish🌊 to re-join Aston Villa due to the fact he’s a Birmingham City fan and that move would improve Villa as a ܫside.
Meanwhile, he says tha𝓰t Grealish would walk into the Spurs team i✃n three different positions, while he says that the Man City ace wouldn’t fit in well at Arsenal or Liverpool.
“I don’t want him to go back to Villa. Selfishly with my Blues head on I don’t want Villa to get good aga𒀰in, and genuinely for him, when you go back there’s that expectation that you’re going to be the person you were when you left.
“A fresh start would be gre🅷at for him where he’s the main man again, where pe💜ople want to get him the ball.
“Spurs, 🐠he walks into that team in every position, easily, whether that’s a winger, a 10 or an eight. Arsenal, no I don’t think he works for Arsenal, who else?
“Liverpool, no he doesn’t work for Liverpool. He won’t go to Manchester United but he’s better than what they have. Who else? Newcastle, easy. There are loads of teams, anyone outside of that top four. I’d argue he’d do 🍌well at Chelsea, but they have about 75 wingers.”
♏“If he went to Newcastle it would be considered a step down, but it’s a massive club wit🐷h a massive fanbase.”
How Tottenham could look with Jack Grealish
It is interesting 🐎to ponder how Spurs could look if they signed ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚGrealish.
Grealish is a ‘magnificent’ player at his best, and if he can rediscover his top f🌌orm, he’d be a star for any side.
Tottenham actually came close to signing Grealish a few years ago, but the deal fell through at 🌼the last minute.
As Deeney says, Grealish cou🔴ld play multiple positions for Tottenham, and the Spurs team co♏uld look very interesting with Grealish in the side.

♚In thi꧅s team, Grealish replaces Heung-Min Son down the left side.
Son has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia recently, and his contract is up next year.
David Pleat says it may be time for Son to leave Tottenham, and if he does, Grealish could replace him to create a fluid trio of attac🍨k-minded creators who can interchange alongside James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski.

In this team, as Deeney says, Grealish operates more as a midfield player, and Son stays at Spurs with Dejan Kulusevski returning🍸 to his right wing berth.
If this was the direction A💦nge Postecoglou wanted to go, he’d probably need to add more steel in that holding midfield spot instead of Yves Bissouma.

In this team, Grealish plays as the lone number 10 in the way Dejan Kulusevski has operated at times in recent weeks, and that is an interest✤ing proposition too.
Grealish played some of his best football at Aston Villa in this role, and perhaps that’s where he sꦉhould play for his next club, be that Tottenham or anothe꧃r team.
Grealish to Spurs is certainly an 💛interesting idea, and, as Deeney s🔯ays, this may be a wise move for all parties.
