Tottenham talent Troy Parrott plays in draw, gets 7/10 for ‘glimpses of potential’
Troy Parrott has been forced to wait patiently to make his full debut for Millwall since arriving on loan from Tottenham during the summer transfer window.
The teenager picked up an injury before a ball had been kicked this season and has spent some time on the sidelines.
Millwall drew 1-1 with Reading last night, with Jed Wallace scoring the Lions’ goal, against a Royals side who have started the campaign well.

Parrott played for just over an hour of last night’s contest and certainly, Tottenham will now hope he enjoys a run of games in the team.
Last night he enjoyed a solid opening performance and drew some praise from
They awarded him a 7/10 and wrote in their player ratings : “A long wait for his first start and obviously not fully fit but showed glimpses of his potential. Linked play between the midfield and attack well.”
TBR View – Parrott will now hope to kick on
It must have boosted the Irishman’s confidence to know that whilst injured during his loan spell, youngsters have been getting the chance to shine at Tottenham.
That will surely give the teenager a firm desire to kick on and push towards doing well with the Lions and getting a first-team opportunity next season.

The 18-year-old has been a regular goalscorer coming through the youth ranks for club and country.
One challenge for Parrott now is to prove to his parent club that he can make the grade in men’s football.
The experience of playing in the Championship should serve him well and if he can score a few goals as well, a Tottenham chance could beckon.
