What Ange Postecoglou thinks of Werner

Timo We🤪rner surprised a few people during his loan spell at Tottenham.

The German still struggled in front of goal, just like he did at Chelsea, but he just seemed a much better fit in Ange Postecoglou’ꦡs system.

Werner got in some good positions, made a number of really clever runs and caused opposition defenders quite a few problems. He was a real nuisance at times.

That was enough to suggest that Spurs should get him back for the 2024/🉐25 season, and they have reportedly done jus💃t that now.

Speaking about why Postecoglou༒ wants him, Alasdair Gold : “Postecoglou likes the German attacker and as part of a bigger squad needed for♕ next season with Europa League football, he’s experienced and can cover a few positions.”
