Spurs’ squad is seriously depleted at the moment, and they need additions before the end of the January transfer window.
Tottenham wanted three signings through the door this month, but, so far, they’ve only signed one player.
A new striker is a priority at Tottenham as Spurs have been linked with a number of centre-forward options.
Tottenham wanted Randal Kolo Muani this month, but he’s headed to Juventus instead, and now, Spurs may need to look at other options.
With just over a week to go in the transfer window, Spurs have now asked about a striker from within the Premier League.

Tottenham ask about Evan Ferguson
According to , Tottenham have asked Brighton to keep them informed about any developments regarding Evan Ferguson for the remainder of this transfer window.
Ferguson has been linked to Arsenal recently, while West Ham are also keen on Ferguson.
Spurs have now asked about the Irishman, who was valued at recently.
Brighton may consider loaning Ferguson out this month, and Spurs could potentially be a suitor.
However, whether or not this is the right move for Ferguson is up for debate.
Dominic Solanke will be back in March, so Ferguson will likely be relegated back to the bench once the England international is back in action.
Ferguson needs first-team football, and he wouldn’t be guaranteed those chances at Tottenham.
However, there’s also an argument to make that Ferguson isn’t the player Spurs need right now.
Evan Ferguson stats this season
Ferguson, once upon a time, was a very highly-rated player.
Kylian Mbappe even praised Ferguson at one point.
However, in recent times, the Irishman has struggled for goals, and he’s only scored once all season.

Tottenham don’t need a striker who doesn’t know how to score goals consistently, they already have two of those in Timo Werner and Richarlison.
If Spurs wanted a young Irish striker who knew how to put the ball in the net, perhaps they’d have been better off keeping hold of Troy Parrott.
Parrott is in incredible form over in the Netherlands, and even Ange Postecoglou has been impressed by Parrott this season.

Spurs do need to add some striking depth to their frontline, but, given his lack of goals over the past 18 months, Ferguson may not be the answer to Tottenham’s prayers.
