Tottenham fans are all making the same point about Dominic Solanke after Europa League win over Eintracht Frankfurt
Tottenham Hotspur are through to the Europa League semi-finals after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 on aggregate in their quarter-final tie.
Spurs drew 1-1 with Eintracht in the first leg to leave the tie evenly poised, and Dominic Solanke’s penalty proved the difference between the two sides in the second leg.
Tottenham were awarded a spot kick late on in the first half after Eintracht goalkeeper Kaua Santos clattered into James Maddison, and Solanke duly converted from 12 yards out.
A number of Tottenham fans on social media spoke about Solanke during and after the game, and the same point was made on several occasions.

Tottenham fans noted how hard Solanke worked for the cause and how he never stopped running, on top of his clinical penalty which proved so crucial.
One fan said on X: “Solanke. He’s just amazing. I feel exhausted watching him run for 90 minutes straight. So glad he got the goal. What a pen btw.”
Another said: “He knows what it’s like to play for the badge, hasn’t stopped running for the past 3 games. Immense player I love him.”
The praise for Solanke kept coming, with one fan saying: “Solanke’s dirty work still goes under the radar.
“Cold penalty. Ate up so much contact, showed me a different gear of drive.”
Another wrote: “Solanke must be shattered. What a shift and great penalty.”
Another said: “Solanke. He was all over running every blade of grass.”
How Dominic Solanke fared against Eintracht Frankfurt
Solanke delivered an impressive performance against Frankfurt, working relentlessly despite finding himself with little service.
He dispatched his spot kick coolly for his first goal in 12 games, but once again he offered much more than that.

Solanke contested 19 aerial duels, winning nine of them, as well as two ground duel wins out of five, and chipped in with three clearances and two tackles too.
Solanke’s efforts have helped Tottenham set up a semi-final tie against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt, with the two legs set to take place on Thursday 1 May and 8 May.
