Tottenham monitoring Evann Guessand – but West Ham are also keen

Matt Barlow has now revealed that Spurs are keeping an eye on the Ivory Coast international –💜 who is admired by West Hဣam and Bournemouth too.

It has been an impressive 2024/25 campaign for the Ivorian, who boasts eight goals and four assists in 17 Ligue 1 appearances – form which led L’Equ🌄ipe to put the OGC Nice No.29 in their Team of the Season so far.

It is believed West Ham scouted Guessand across November and December, although the search fo♍r a new striker has now intensified after Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen all suffered serious injuries.

Ange Postecoglou would get a versatile forward in Evann Guessand

The 23-year-old himself has a𝐆lready admitted he can play anywhere across the frontline.

During an interview with OGC Nice, Guessand revealed: “I was trained as a winger, and even when I went to the national team, I played as a winger. Then I grew physically, getti🐷ng taller, so they put me in the centre. At Nantes, I played three quarters of the season on the right flank, so yes, I’m less of a nine (centre-forward) than some. I can play in all attacking positions.

“Away to Lorient I played up front, again💖st Lille on the flank. I like to play in all attacking positions.”

This versatility would be of great benefit to Ange Postecoglou, who has just lost Timo Werner to a 🌌hamstring injury – a player who ജwas already underperforming anyway – while Richarlison and Wilson Odobert are also currently sidelined.
