Anything better than a draw secures them a finish ahead of Marseille, but they can’t catch Frankfurt or Sporting.

Moore has already appeared in four Youth League matches off the bench, but has finally earned his first start.

The 15-year-old already has two goals and two assists at under-18 level for Spurs this season.

will be hoping he can add a European goal to his tally today.

Moore starts for Tottenham under-19s today

Moore is an exciting prospect in Tottenham’s academy, and is showing his ability several age groups above himself.

The attacker – who was born in 2007 – recorded a goal and assist against Brighton earlier in the season.

“The second goal from Tom Bloxham, (included) a really good piece of work from Mikey Moore and with the final goal, the intensity on our press to win the ball back was evident and then we scored from that with a top piece of play from Mikey.”

Antonio Conte won’t be looking at including Moore in the first-team set-up any time soon, and hasn’t got a great track record of using Tottenham’s young players.

Bryan Gil has spent most of the season on the bench, only being given the chance to impress against Sporting last week.

Conte has admitted he’s a big fan of Gil, but that hasn’t translated into minutes on the pitch.

Djed Spence was signed from Middlesbrough as an up-and-coming player, but he too has hardly played a minute and could be loaned out in January.

Tottenham youngsters have the perfect example in Harry Kane to show that you can break into the first team from the academy.

A start for Tottenham’s under-19s today for Moore is one of the first steps he needs to take if he wants to emulate Kane.
