Tony Cascarino says 27-year-old would be better off signing for Tottenham than Manchester United

Tony Cascarino has explained why Timo Werner would be better off at Tottenham Hotspur than at Manchester United.

The talkSPORT pundit has said the way that Tottenham p๊lay now would be beneficial to the former Chelsea forward.

So, what has Ton🅷y Cascarino said about Tottenha♐m Hotspur, Manchester United and Timo Werner? Let’s take a look.

Tottenham Hotspur better option than Manchester United

Well, according to Tony Cascarino, Timo Werner would suit Tottenham Hotspur better than Manchester United.

The former Chelsea striker and♈ talkSPORT pundit has noted that Werner plays as a striker and he will get more chances ဣat Spurs than at United.

Tottenham are a more attacking team than Erik ten Hag’s side. The North London club have scored 42 goals in 20 Premier League matches this season. United have found the back of the net 33 times in the league thi♛s campaign.

According to , Tottenham have agreed to sign 27-year-old Wꦬerner from RB Leipzig on a loan deal until the end of the season.

has credited Manchester United with interest in Werner. Aston Villa and West Ham United have also been linked.

Cascarino said on when asked which club Werner would suit more, Spurs or United: “Spurs, Spurs at the moment. 🦩Spurs.

“The way they play, create chances, the movement, the bodies they get in the 18-yard box, he is a goalscorer, he is going to get more chances (at Tottenham t🐭han he would at Manchester United). They create loads of chances. I think it will come down to one thing – how clinical he is.”

My View: Manchester United should be relieved

In my opinion, Manchester U💯nited should not be too fussed about missing out on Timo Werner 🌼to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

I do not think that Werner would have made Unit💯༺ed better or more potent in attack.

Werner is better used as a wide player and not as a striker. After all, he has scored only two goals for RB Leipzig this season and struggled during his time at Chelsea.

United need a top-quality striker who can score goals on a regular basis. Rasmus Hojlund has potential, but he is just 20 now♔ and is not the finished article yet.

True, Antony has struggled at United and I do not think that he will be a huge success at the♒ Red Devils, but Werner🦄 is not the💜 answer, even on a short-term deal.
