‘They’re excited’: Tottenham think they have a 16-year-old gem on their hands, he’s an amazing dribbler – journalist

Tottenham Hotspur are playing some fantastic football at the moment.

Spurs have been one of the best teams in the Premier League to watch this season, but what’s more exciting is what the future may hold at Tottenham.

Indeed, while the current crop of players are brilliant, in a few years’ time, Spurs should have an amazing core of players all coming into their peak.

The likes of Pape Sarr, Radu Dragusin, Micky Van de Ven and Destiny Udogie are all so young, while there are some young stars in the academy who are also very exciting.

Speaking on , Tom Barclay has been discussing some of Spurs’ youth prospects, and he says that 16-year-old Mikey Moore is a player the club are fairly excited about.

Tottenham excited about Mikey Moore

Barclay shared what he knows about the youngster.

“Mikey Moore is a player that lots of people have been talking about for a long time, signed a new deal in the summer, he’s only 16 but when you watch him, he has such grace on the ball, such dribbling ability and vision, he’s someone who is definitely someone they’re excited about,” Barclay said.

The future is bright

There’s every reason to be excited about what the future holds for Spurs.

So many young players are already doing the business at first-team level, while they also have so many talented young players in the academy and out on loan.

The likes of Lucas Bergvall, Ashley Phillips and Alfie Devine all look like stars in the making, and, if all goes to plan, Tottenham should have an incredibly talented squad in a few years’ time.

Of course, it’s hard to accurately predict what these players will ultimately do at first-team level, but there is reason to be optimistic about Spurs’ future, that’s for sure.
