‘They smoked us’… Yannick Bolasie shares who he thinks are the better team now – Leeds or Southampton

Yannick Bolasie has played against some of the very best teams and players in modern football.

The Congolese winger has tons of Premier League🌠 and international experience under his belt, and it’s fair to say he kno♌ws a good team when he sees one.

The winger spent the first half of this season playing for Swansea City in the Champions🍸hip, and speaking on , he’s now named who 💧he believes is the best team in the second-tier this season.

Bolasie says that while he was really impressed by Leeds United when he played against the Whites, it was Southampton who impressed h💙im most, claiming that he really likes the system the Saints are currently playing under Russell Martin.

Yannick Bolasie says Southampton are better than Leeds

The winger shared his verdict on these two teams.

“Who’s the best team 𓂃you have played against in the Championship this season?” Bolasie was asked.

“Leeds were A1, but Southampton, they smoked us, Southampton have that system. If I was playing in that Southampton system I would be like ‘give me the ball please.’ Because their wingers a🦩re just there, gone,” Bolasie said.

Leeds may be above Southampton in the ta𝕴ble right now, but make no mistake about it, these two teams are incredibly close in terms of quality.

Leeds’ form right now is superior, but let’s not🌟 forget, Southampton went on a club-record unbeaten run earlier this season that put them in a strong position for promotion.

Both teams will be hopi꧅ng to finish in the top two come the end of the season, and the match between these two sides on the final day may well be one of the most tense matches t🍌he Championship has ever seen.

One thing is for sure, this promotion race will be incredibly enthralling r🧸ight up until the f𒁏inal day of the season.
