‘There is no doubt’… Brendan Rodgers admits ‘wonderful’ 22-year-old is really struggling at Celtic right now
The Celtic fans will freely admit that the form of the team is something of a cause of concern for them right now.
After struggling wins against the likes of Ross County and Hibs and a poo🧸r draw against Aberdeen, the supporters are patiently waiting for that game where it will all click and they will se𝔍e the kind of football that used to get them excited under Ange Postecoglou.
One player who was pivotal to that type of football under Ange Postecoglou was Liel Abada. The Israeli winger was ‘wonderful‘ under the Aussie gaffer but after returning from injury this season, he has looked a shadow of that play🍃er.
And boss, Brendan Rodgers, has admitted that the 22-year🐈-old is struggling at Celtic🧸 right now.
Rodgers said [], “It’s be🎀en a challenge for Liel with everything that has gone on off the pitch.
“He’s well-supported, he’s well-loꦰved here, but there’s no doubt it’s been a challenge for him.
“To play football🐽 at your best, you have to be in that really positive mindset and in a good headspace. But we will constantly work with him in order to maximise what we can get out of him.
“I think what we do is just continue to communicate with him. My job is to maximise the 𒊎potential that he has and, for that, it’s just about making sure he is in the best place possible.
“I speak a lot to h▨im and he has great support around here. So, yeah, it’s not easy for him at the minute, but we just keep working with him to get the best performance out of him.”

Valued at over £10m, there was a time when Abada was attracting the interest of some of the top clubs in Europe.
However, this season, injury has curtailed his gamet꧟imꦿe and development and, as Rodgers has stated, off-field matters are clearly having an impact on Abada’s form.
The Celtic fans will be hoping that the Israeli winger will recapture the form that saw him score 50 goals and create 31 assists in his first💎 two seasons at the club as they bid to stave off the title challenge from their friends across the city.
