The warning Gian Piero Gasperini gave Man United about Rasmus Hojlund which has now come true

Rasmus Hojlund is really struggling at Manchester United.

A promising debut campaign at Old Trafford last se🍬ason – following his £72m move from Atalanta – saw the Denmark international impress with 16 goals in 43 app🐷earances across all competitions.

However, the Dane has gone backwards this term, netting only seven goals in 33 games so far, with only two coming in the Premier League.

As Rasmus Hojlund struggles to shine under Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, a warning Gian Piero Gasperini sent the Red Devils before that £72m deal wen▨t through now looks veryꦯ interesting.

Gian Piero Gasperini felt Rasmus Hojlund was joining Manchester United prematurely

The Italian helped develop the 22-year-old into a superstar in Bergamo, wi⛦th Hojlund scoring ten goals and providing four assists in 34 games under his guidance, showing real promise as a young talent.

However, Gasperini felt the Copenhagen-born forward 🐈was leaving Atalanta for Manchester United too early in his career just before that £72m deal materialised in August 2023, when he was still only 20 years of age.

The 67-year-old said: “I think so (Hojlund should stay one more season) – then after that it’s difficult. He undoubtedly has great talent, but also great room for improvement. These things are visible in both senses, he must work to improve because he has the characteris💝tics to become one of the strongest strikers in the world.”

In truth, the mere fact Hojlund cried after scoring his first Premier League goal on Boxing Day last season in a 3-2 win over Aston Vꦬilla just goes to show how much pressure is on his young shoulder🗹s – Manchester United need to support him regardless of his performances.

Manchester United coaches are losing patience with Rasmus Hojlund

After Manchester United fought back from 2-0 down at Everton following Amorim’s decision to substitute Hojlund, who Martin Odegaard admires, the Manchester 𓆏Evening News have posted an inte🌌resting article.

It is said that coaches within Old Trafford are running out of patience with the Danish s𓂃tr💛iker, while cheers were also heard from the away end inside Goodison Park when he was replaced by the 17-year-old Chido Obi.

Hopefully, Amorim sticks with Hojlund – who Michael Owen feels needs morꦚe servi🅷ce – as he is clearly a ta✅lented forward who just needs an injection of confidence.
