Jeremie Frimpong has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.

The Reds are expected to be busy in the next transfer window after failing to make any big signings in the last two. Arne Slot needs reinforcements in multiple positions.

One such area of the pitch is right-back as 🐲Trent Alexander-Arnold looks set to leave the Reds and join Real Madrid on a free transfer in July.

TBR Football revealed in October last year that 🏅Frimpong is on Liverpool’s list to replace Alexander-Arnold on the right side of their defence.

TBR Football revealed at the start of March that 𝐆Slot has told Liverpool to start working on signing Frimpong in the event that Alexander-Arnold leaves.

๊Sacha Tavolieri has now revealed on now that the Liverpool right-back has agreed a deal to join Real Madrid and that Frimpong is the chosen one to replace him.

🌟The report claims that Slot is so keen to sign the talented Dutch full-back that he has formed a three-step plan:

• A phone call with Frimpong’s representatives
• Regular conversations and discussions via messages
• Possibility of a face-to-face meeting in the coming weeks

The report adds that Leverkusen are demanding £41.8 million for Frimpong. Liverpoolꦛ have been tipped to make an opening offer to test the waters in the near future.

Alexander-Arnold is a very unique player.
