The maximum amount of money Arsenal are ready to pay Wolves to sign Matheus Cunha

Wolves star Matheus Cunha has been a target for Arsenal for several months now.

The Brazilian has had a fine season for the Wanderers. He has scored 10 goals in the Premier League☂ so far and has been their best player by a distance.

Wolvesཧ have been trying to extend Cunha’s contract and it even looked like it was done a few weeks ago. However, it looks like there has been a standstill.

💫That has alerted clubs who are interested in the 25-year-old, including Arsenal.

How much Arsenal are prepared to pay Wolves for Matheus Cunha

Wolves signed Cunha🌳 on a permanent deal for £44 million after a successful loan spell in 2022.

🍒The Brazilian has performed brilliantly for them since, and his quality in the Premier League has attracted interest from several clubs.

Arsenal’s interest in Cunha🔜 has been widely reported, and with the Gunners struggling in attack, a move to sign him makes a lot of sense.

However, have revealed a problem.

🌌The report claims that Wolves are demanding a fee in excess of £70 million to sell their star man in this window. That would give them a sizeable profit on their investment two-and-a-half years ago.

𓄧However, it has been revealed that Arsenal are not willing to pay more than £45 million to sign Cunha in the final 12 days of the winter window.

ꦿThat makes it very difficult for the Gunners to seal this deal.

What Wolves sources are saying about Cunha and Arsenal

💟Wolves are more than aware of the interest in Cunha from Arsenal and other interested clubs.

TBR Football confirmed on Tuesday that 𓆉talks over a new contract have stalled between Wolves and Cunha due to issues over a release clause in the deal.

🦩However, despite that, we can confirm that Wolves are not worried about Cunha leaving in this window because his contract does not expire until the summer of 2027.

♕The plan for Wolves is to keep hold of their Brazilian star this month – irrespective of whether he signs a new contract or not.

That means Arsenal෴ may have to wait until the summer before they can try to sign him.
