The loan fee Tottenham have paid Bayern Munich to take Mathys Tel until end of the season

TBR Football can exclusively confirm how much Tottenham Hotspur are paying Bayern Munich to take Mathys Tel on loan until the end of the season.

Tottenham were rejected by Tel earlier in the window, despite agreeing a €60million (£50million) fee🦹 with Bayern Munich f🐈or the 19-year-old.

This led to interest in Tel fꦰr⛄om Manchester United and Arsenal, and there were reports suggesting Tel may have been staying put at Bayern.

However, in a surprise development, Tel has chang🎃ed his mind and is now o🦄n the way to Tottenham.

Tel will li𒁃nk up with Spurs on an initial loan deal, and is already oᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn a plane to England with his agent, Gadiri Camara.

Tottenham set to pay Bayern Munich £6.5million for Mathys Tel loan

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Tottenham will be paying Bayern around £6.5million to take Mathys Tel on loan until the summer.

There is n🍎o option or obligation to buy and, according to TBR Football sources, Tel’s camp says he is open about his future and is happy to see how things go.

This is one reason why Tottenham don’t mind having no ꦺoption – 🅺it’s open-ended, and if he enjoys his time at N17, he’s likely to stay.

What Harry Kane thinks of Tel

Last week, Jamie Redknapp said he messaged Harry Kane in order to get the lowdown on Tel amid all the sp꧒eculation linking him with Spurs.

Redk𝓰napp said⭕ Kane told him that Tel is a “great guy” who works h✱ard in training, knows w🌞here the back of the net is, and has a high ceiling.

“He’♓s a very talented player that’s for sure,” said Redknap🙈p.

“Nineteen years of age and To♑ttenham obviously signed a lot of good young players in the last few years, that seems to be the profile of what they’re trying to get.

“I messaged Harry Kane earlier on, just asked him what he’s like, obviously knew I was coming to speak to 🧔you guys, and he was very complimentary about him.

“First of all, says he’s a great guy, wants to work, good trainer, good finisher, lot of 🧜potential.”
