Next up it’s Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League as Nuno faces his old club.

James Ward-Prowse is set to join as West Ham look set to secure a replacement in the form of Carlos Soler.

Meanwhile, rather than making the move to the Premier League, so there’s still work to be done.

Sky Sports reporter shares Nottingham Forest transfer plans after Omar Marmoush collapse

Forest have already welcomed nine new faces to the club and another few look likely, with James Ward-Prowse being one of those.

Speaking on live from the City Ground, Rob Dorsett provided an update on the club’s plans after Omar Marmoush’s failed move to the Midlands.

“Omar Marmoush, the Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Forest were willing to pay around £25m for him but Frankfurt wanted more than that.

“Forest have stepped away from negotiations, they’re now looking at other potential striking options.”

So, another one bites the dust for Nuno as Wolves look set to sign Andre, who was attracting interest from Nottingham Forest this week.

What happens now at Nottingham Forest?

A striker is still on the radar before the window shuts despite Chris Wood’s impressive start to the season, and Taiwo Awoniyi sitting on the bench.

Santiago Gimenez was looking like he was heading to the City Ground but things broke down.

James Ward-Prowse will be a priority in what could be a fantastic addition in the middle of midfield after Danilo’s injury.

And, if what Dorsett is saying is true then a new striker name could come out of the woodworks before the deadline as the club work tirelessly.
