The £25m attacker Nottingham Forest could target after Brentford reject their Yoanne Wissa bid

TBR Football understands that Brentford have rejected a bid from Nottingham Forest for Yoanne Wissa and Nuno Espirito Santo could now turn his attention to Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz.

🐲Forest are keen to bolster their attacking options this month and had been hoping to lure Wissa to the City Ground, however, a move now looks very unlikely.

Brentford𓃲 are desperate to keep hold of the forward who has netted 11 times in the Premier League this season and whose contract only runs until 2026.

🌸Nuno will now have to start considering other options having seen their bid for Wissa rejected by the West London club.

Brentford reject Nottingham Forest’s Yoanne Wissa bid

Brentford have reiterated that Yoanne Wissa is not for sale after rejecting an offer from Nottingham Forest, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

TBR Football𓄧 understands that the bid for the 28-year-old was submitted last week and the Bees have now turned it down as they are desperate to keep hold of him.

Brentford are refusing to put a price tag on any of their players, including Bryan Mbeumoꦆ, but TBR Football has been told Wissa in their eyes would command fees on par with Ivan Toney.

Arsenal have also shown an interest in Wissa🌟 as they look to sign an attacker this month, however, they will only face the same struggles to get him as Forest.

Where could Nottingham Forest turn after Yoanne Wissa bid is rejected?

TBR Football exclusively revealed last week that ♑Nottingham Forest are keen to sign Galatasaray forward Baris Alper Yilmaz this month.

Yilmazಞ has been impressing for Galatasaray this campaign having netted 11 goals in 28 games from left wing, with 10 of those goals coming in the Super Lig. Sources in Turkey claim that Yilmaz will cost interested clubs around .

Nuno Espirito Santo♛ remains intent on adding another attacker in January to help aid his team’s push for Champions League football.
