‘That is a worry’… Barry Ferguson is seriously concerned at what he’s hearing about ‘huge’ Celtic player
It seems Celtic are not only needing to worry about the oncomings in this transfer window.
The Hoops fans are desperately waiting to see if Brendan Rodgers will add more new faces as the hours ticks down but, according to Barry Ferguson, they should also need to worry about Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The US defender is reportedly🎉 injured and Ferguson believes that is something the Celtic fans should be really focusing on.
Ferguson said [], “I know the concern 💛for Celtic fans 🐭is they want to see signings but for me it would be Carter-Vickers.
“For me, I’d be worrying a🐓bout what’s going on there. Because he’s huge.
“I🌞 know Callum McGregor is huge but he holds that defence together, Carter-Vickers. So that is aౠ worry.
“I’m sure they would have been delighted with the news that he signed a new five-and-a-half-year contraꦫct but you want to see him🌺 on the pitch if you’re a Celtic supporter.”
There is no doubt that Carter-Vickers is an extremely important member of the💙 Celtic team.
The 26-year-old has been pivotal to the Hoops’ success since his £6m move from Spurs in 2021 and if he is out for a proꦑlonged period of time then it will be a headache for Brendan Rodgers.

With Reo Hatate limping off in Japan’s last 16 match of the Asia Cup yesterday afternoon, this January is start💦ing to turn into a nightmare for the Celtic fan♐s.
Hopefully the injuries to both players are not as drastic as thꩲey are being made out to be. With Rodgers being without the pair for much of this season, the Celtic manager has every right to feel exasperated should their injuries turn out to be long term𒅌.
However, despite Ferguson’s assertion that the fans should be worried, and they are, transfer talk is what is on their minds and they will be hoping that the club make some moves befor🍬e the window closes just before midnight.
