‘Surprised’… Barry Ferguson says 30-year-old Celtic man is the only player really trying for Celtic
Celtic’s slump in form has alarmed the fans. And at a time when the games are coming thick and fast and with Rangers just around the corner, the team need all the players pulling in the same direction.
But what will be worrying the fans more is that there seems to be a lack of fight within the team. The performance against Hearts and the capitulation against Kilmarnock when they were a goal up and lost 2-1, has set the alarm bells ringing.
And former Rangers hero, Barry Ferguson, has noticed it as well. In fact, Ferguson has gone one step further and said that he believes there is just one player at Celtic giving his 🌠all for the manager.
Ferguson said [], “I’m as surprised as a lot of people. I never saw it coming. Throughout the season the𒁏re are surpri𝓀se results but certainly, the last couple of results have surprised me.
“Now I’ve seen both games and if you look at them the only real guy who looks at he’s wanting to grab the game with the scruff of the neck is Callum McGregor.
“But other people need to tak🃏e responsibility as well, It can’t just c♛an’t lie with one player.”
Not time to panic at Celtic, yet
In my vieꦚw, there is no need to panic just yet. Celtic are still top of the league and with three games to go until the New Year, there is every possibility that the lead could stretch.
Yes, I am welꦫl aware tha൲t Rangers have a game in hand but they are hardly playing top-class football themselves.

Their performances haven’t been great and you can only scrape results for so long until something🦂 gives. Their bad run of form will come.
And when Celtic do, Brendan Rodgers will need to capitalise on it because a tﷺitle race is on and this team had better be up for the fight.
