John Terry says Enzo Fernandez was ‘superb’ for Chelsea vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa were actually the favourites in many people’s eyes to win the game against Chelsea ꧃last night.﷽

The Blues have had a shocking season, and they went into yesterday’s fixture on the back of a terribl🃏e 4-2 defeat against Wolves last weekend.

The pressure was on Mauricio Pochettino‘s side and they had to deliver. To many people’s s🧸urprise, they did just that and were brilliant.

Conor Gallagher opened the scoring in the first half before Nicolas Jackson doubled their lead 10 minutes later. After the break, Enzo Fernandez sealed it with a stunning free-kick.

This was a massive result for the Blues, and club legend John Terry was absolutely delighted with the result. He was particularly impres♌sed by Fernandez’s performance.

Terry : “So much better tonight. The movement on and off the ball was eﷺxcellent, Enzo was superb tonight. Played fo🅺rward and ran forward which causes problems for defenders.

“Away fans were excellent. Tough run of games coming🐻 up but I want to see more of that.”

Enzo Fernandez was brilliant vs Villa

Chelsea si𝓀gned Enzo Fernandez for an eye-watering £106.8꧒ million last year ().

The Argentine has always been a good player, but he has struggled to produce a performance worthy of his price tag in a Chelsea shirt. That has led to a ton of criticism from fans and pundits.

However, Fernandez’s performance against Aston Villa last night was outstanding. He bossed ꦦthe game from the middl🌱e of the park and scored an absolutely sensational goal to seal the game.

Chelsea fans will be hoping Fernandez will continue to perform in the same way in the coming weeks. If he does, the B🐭lues will be in a much better position.
