Al-Ettifaq are interested in signing Thomas Partey from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

That is according to , which has reported how much transfer fee Steven Gerrard’s club could offer for Partey.

So, what is being reported about Al-Ettifaq, Arsenal and Thomas Partey? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, according to , Juventus are facinᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚg competition from two clubs in Saudi🌸 Arabia for Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey.

Arsenal are open to offers for the 30-year-old Ghana international. Partey has had injury issues, and when fit and available this season, he has been deployed at rig🅺ht-back instead of in midfield.

TuttoJuve has noted that Juventus are keen on the £200,000-a-week () star, but so are two c𒅌lubs in ꦰSaudi Arabia – Al-Ettifaq FC and Al Ahly SC.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is now in charge of Al-Ettifaq and signed midfielder Jordan Henderson from the Reds in the summer of 2023.

The report has claimed the Saudi Pro League club could offer 𝓀🌳€40 million (£35 million) for Partey.

Arsenal in potential conundrum over Thomas Partey

In my opinion, Arsenal would be in a big dilemma if they get an offer of £35 million for Thomas🔜 Partey in the January transfer window.

That would be a lot of money for a 30-year-old who may not even get into the team. Of course, Partey is an important option to have in the Arsenal squad, but the Gunners have to be mi💫ndful of his age and the potential transfer fee.

Arsenal paid in transfer fees for Partey. So, to get £35 million back would be quite something. I believe that the North London club would have to consider it, although they have to line up replacements for Partey first before they offload him.
