Steve Bruce highlights what Leeds must do to turnaround blip in form

Leeds United have been accused of a blip as the𒁏ir Championship title challenge faces obstacles in recent weeks, but Sheffield Wednesday gaffer Steve Bruce may have found the key to o♑vercoming their success.

Having won just twice in their last five🍒 games, t༒itle rivals Norwich City and Sheffield United have both picked up at least four wins in the same time frame, and Bruce thinks Leeds may need to take their eye off their rivals.

“Maybe in the last weeks you𓂃 are allowed to think what is this opponent doing, with tha🌸t result or whatever, because it is becoming more and more crucial. For example, the other day Middlesbrough faced Leeds and you don’t know who is in the better position after 42 game days,” say he told .

“I think it is still a bit too early to speak about pressure in these ꦏgames but when you get to the crunch time period you need to be there with a big mental strength.”

The experienced boss knows what it takes to earn promotion from the second tier of Engli📖sh football and he is already leading his Yorkshire based side up the league table.

Marcelo Bielsa may not thank him for his comments, though the Argentinian is looking for a way to turn 🦄around his team’s drop in form which has already seen the side drop down to third for the first time since November.

Leeds need to react sooner rather thanꦺ later and there would be no better place to start than against fourth placed West Bromwich Albion on Friday night.
