‘Special’ player has decided that he does not want to sign for Nottingham Forest in January
Nottingham Forest are doing extremely well at the moment, perhaps better than expected.
Forest♌ finished as low as 17th in the Premier League table last season, but they are now in the running for a European spot.
Nuno’s💃 side are fifth in the standings with 19 points from 11 matches. They are level on points with Chelsea and Arsenal, who are third and fourth respectively in the table.
As with all clubs, the Reds are looking to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window, and one of the players Forest have made contact with is Mathys Tel.
Mathys Tel stance on potential Nottingham Forest move
According to a report in , Forest have made a loan offer for Tel, which the Bayern Munich forward has rejected.
🦂The report has claimed that if Tel is to leave Bayern on a loan deal in the middle of the season, then he will only consider a bigger club.

💖Tel has been on the books of Bayern since the summer of 2022 when he joined from Rennes.
🍨The 19-year-old forward has made one start and three substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and has played four minutes in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern so far this season.
Mathys Tel decision is a blow for Crystal Palace as well
Tel’s reported decision to turn down a move to Forest is a blow for Crystal Palace as well.
That is because, like Forest, 🌺Palace, linked with Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, are also keen on a loan deal for Tel.
🌠Earlier this month, reported that Palace, Forest, Fulham and Leicester City all want a loan deal for the France Under-21 international forward in the January transfer window.
ꦕIf Tel does not fancy a move to Forest, who are in the running for the Premier League top four, then it is hard to see him find a potential transfer to Palace appealing, given that the Eagles are in the bottom three.
