Southampton fans react as Tottenham reportedly eye Danny Ings
꧅Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for Southampton goal machine Danny Ings in the summer if they decide against making a permanent move for Carlos Vinicius – and Saints fans have reacted on Twitter.
ꦕIngs, 28, has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Southampton and that he is to hold off signing a new deal until the summer – as he wants to be playing Champions League football.
ꦯCertainly, the former Liverpool and Burnley man has been sensational for Southampton over the past couple of seasons. Ings netted 25 goals in 42 games last season, while also nabbing seven in 14 this time around.
🌼 this week that Tottenham are lining up a summer move to sign the England international. Vinicius has impressed in glimpses but it remains to be seen if his permanent £38million clause will be executed.
🌌Ings has certainly been sensational but it remains to be seen if the England attacker would join Jose Mourinho’s side given he would probably be second choice to Harry Kane – something which is already the case in the national team.
🥃Southampton supporters have reacted on Twitter to reports that Tottenham are interested in signing Ings and that their star striker could leave the south coast for North London come the summer.
Many are seemingly ready to wave goodbye.
