Sky Sports journalist shares what he’s heard about Tottenham and Brian Brobbey amid transfer links
Tottenham Hotspur are currently in the market for a new forward in a bid to strengthen Ange Postecoglou’s ranks.
Tottenham wanted Randal Kolo Muani this month, but h🔜e is set to join Juventus instead, so Spurs will need to look at other options෴.
Evan Ferguson has been linked with Tottenham, with Tyler Dibling also on Spurs’ radar amongst other names doing the rounds.
A new name that has emerged in terms of Tottenham transfer links is Brian Brobbey, who plays for Ajax and the Netherlands.

Tottenham don’t appear interested in Brian Brobbey
Bridge, speaking on the , has reported that Tottenham don’t appear to🌺 be interested in Bไrobbey.
He acknowledged that Spurs have prioritised a forward this month, but he said reports of the 🅺Lilywhites being in the race for Brobbey are wide of the maไrk.
“Spurs🌊 want a forward and that is the prime target,” said Bridge.
“Spurs desperately need a forward because Dominic Solanke is going to be out for some time and🤪 Richarlison has only just come back.
“There’s 🍬been talk about Spurs entering the race for Ajax forward Brian Brobbey, but my understanding is that’s 🐽not the case.
“They are in for a forward but I understand Brobbey is not tha❀t forward.”
What Postecoglou has said about Tottenham in the January transfer window
Spurs made one signing earl𓂃y on this month when they brought in Czech goalkeepe🎃r Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague.
However, they’ve not managed to sign anyone else just yet and, with 10 days left unti♒l th𒈔e January window shuts, time is of the essence.
Earlier this week, Ange Postecoglou claimed Tottenham could make no more Jan🐓uary signings before the transfer window closes.
When asked if Tottenham might not sign anybody tജhis month, Postecoglou told the media: “Yeah, potentially. The club is working hard to get some help f✅or the players.
“As far as I’m aware there’s nothing imminent – but in the last week 🦹of the window things happen quickly.”
Tottenham f🥀ans were not♕ impressed by Postecoglou’s comments – but as the ꧃Spurs manager has said, things could move quickly as the deadline approaches.
