Sky journalist has update on West Ham and Jean Clair-Todibo as medical takes place
West Ham United are enjoying a superb summer on the transfer front, with six signings over the line and a particularly special seventh in the pipeline.
The Hammers hit the ground running early on in the window with the signings of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
West Ham then doubled their tally in a matter of days as they bought Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug, as well as signing Guido Rodriguez on a free.
Now, a player that many Hammers fans had likely given up hope of signing is now set to join the London Stadium side.
The player in question is Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo, and Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has an update on that front.

Jean-Clair Todibo set for second part of West Ham medical
On Thursday night, Fabrizio Romano revealed that West Ham were on course to sign the Frenchman, who originally looked set to join Juventus.
Tim Steidten pulled off a masterclass as he travelled to Nice to convince Todibo to pick them after his club had accepted the Hammers’ offer.
And early on Friday morning, Romano declared “here we go” on Todibo to West Ham, as they successfully hijacked the deal.
The latest update comes from , with Sheth saying at 12:39pm: “Jean Clair-Todibo is in London undergoing his West Ham medical.
“The French centre-back has completed the first part of his medical. The second part of his medical will take part this afternoon.
“The medical follows West Ham’s agreed loan with an option to buy for €40million (£34.2million) deal with Nice.”
Not long now
If all goes well, it shouldn’t be long now until West Ham are in a position to make the all-important official announcement.
And what a deal this is. For weeks, it looked like Todibo to West Ham had completely fizzled out.
Many fans had seemingly accepted that he wanted Juve and that he was on the way to Turin.
However, Steidten has once again pulled it out of the bag, and now, if everything goes according to plan, Todibo will be in claret and blue this coming season.
