Seven duels won, one assist… ‘Fantastic’ Celtic player was superb on international duty this weekend
With fourteen players on international duty this week, the Celtic fans will have plenty of news to pique their interest whilst club football is on hold.
Already this morning, TBR Celtic have shared how ‘Choco’ Lozano, a player Celtic were told to sign free thi🍌s year, scored once again a🐻gainst Mexico on international duty this week.
He was assisted by Luis Palma who has been excellent🍬 for Celtic this season since his £🌳3.5m move from Aris in the summer.
And against the Mexicans, Palma was superb once more as he helped Honduras take one step closer to winning their Nations League campaign. And, to be fair, Mexico were warned about Palma prior to the fixture taking place.
Rated 8.1 by football site, , Palma continued his excellent form for Celtic into the international break for his country.
Creating the assist for Lozano’s opener against the Mexicans, Palma also had two shots on goal, made four passes into the final third and created a further 🍸two chances for his Honduran teammates.
The ‘fantastic‘ 23-year-old also chipped in🎃 with his defensive duties to help Honduras keep a clean sheet against a side ranked 15th in the world.

Winning seven duels out of his 11 duels, Palm💜a also made one interception, six ball recoveries and four de🐎fensive actions as he helped Honduras overcome Mexico 2-0 in the first leg of the quarter-final.
The second leg of the fixture is on the 22nd of November at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico where the Hondurans will be hoping to hold off the inevitable onsla𒐪ught and book their place in the semi-final.
The Celtic winger is clearly brimming with confidence as he continues to impress for his country. The Hoops fans will be hoping he returns from international duty unscathed to continue his superb form for Celtic when the season resumes on the 25th of Nov💙ember against Motherwell.
