Sawyers, Ajayi and other West Brom players send Instagram messages to QPR striker Austin
Charlie Austin helped Queens Park Rangers end a winless run of 10 matches by scoring on his second debut for the club with a close-range header as Mark Warburton’s men beat♒ Luton Town 2-0 – and plenty of West Brom stars have responded.
Austin, 31, had managed just seven appearances for the Baggies since they gained promotion back to the Premier League and it convinced Austin to return to Loftus Road. He has joined on lo൲an until⛎ the end of the season, when his Baggies contract expires.
In his first spell at the club, Austin clocked up a stunning 47 goals and 11 assists in 89 league and cꦺu🍸p outings for the London side. Of those 89, 35 came in the Premier League – in which Austin scored 18 times and laid on seven assists.
Now, he has made if 48 in 90 for QPR after scoringꦚ on his second debut for the club. Warburton’s side needed some inspirati🐭on and got it against Luton thanks to Austin – who doubled the lead after a Bright Osayi-Samuel opener. He posted on Instagram.
The win for QPR pushes Warburton’s men into 18th place in the Championship, having enjoyed a decent start but dropping off spectacularly. They sit only five points above the relegation zone, but Austin’s arrival could help th꧅em pull away.
Certainly, Austin is 🎃a well-liked character and the messages 🍸he has received following his goal from West Brom players proves that. Romaine Sawyers, Semi Ajayi, Kamil Grosicki and others responded to his Instagram.
