Ruben Amorim is now open to selling Manchester United’s £44m player after receiving enquiry from Saudi Pro League

The Saudi Pro League have shown an interest in Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana and TBR Football understands the Cameroon star would be open to moving to the Middle East this summer.

Onana joined United in 2023 under Erik Ten Hag to replace David De Gea in a deꦬal worth around £44 million but has struggled to establish himself at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been planning to enhance their goalkeeping department this summer and TBR Football revealed earlier this month that United had enquired about Burnley’s England goalkeeper James Tඣ🥀rafford.

Ruben Amorim now looks set to allow the Cameroonian international to leave and bring a𒆙 replacemen✱t to United.

Manchester United open to selling Ander Onana to Saudi Pro League

The Saudi Pro League have made early moves to check on Andre Onana’s situation and they have received encouragement from both the player and Manchester United that a deal is there to be done, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

The Pro League are set foꦕr another big summer of transfers and high-profile goalkeepers is one of the top priorities on their list of targets.

Along with Onana, Saudi are also targeting Manchester City’s Ederson and Liverpool’s Alisson, with bothᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Brazilians still seen as two of the worl♒d’s best shotstoppers.

Whilst a deal for Manchester City’s Ederson looks increasingly possible, it remains to be seen if the﷽y can get Alisson out of Liverpool.

Saudi Pro League also want to sign Casemiro

United are open to talks over Onana, although the lines of communication with the Pro League have long been open given they have had regul൩ar contact over Casemiro.

United are still hopeful that they can strike a deal with the Pro League and Casemirꦰo, that will see him moved to Saudi.

The Brazilian is United’s highest earner on £350k-per-week so offloading him would provi﷽de a significant financial boost for the club.
