Royalty support for football teams

King Felipe VI of Spain is often seen cheering on his favourite team Atletico. He has been a supporter of the Spanish team since he watched them win the Copa Del Generalisimo Final in 1976, while accompanied by his parents. Just a few months back, he went to the Estadio Vicente Calderon accompanied by King Juan Carlos to say goodbye. He revealed that this stadium will always remain in his heart, and remembered all the occasions he has been there to experience unforgettable moments. But King Felipe VI is not the only royalty to openly support a football team.

Did you know that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has been one loyal fan of Arsenal for nearly 60 years? The Queen revealed her fondness for the Arsenal squad when the met the coach Arsene Wenger at a reception back in February 2007 in Buckingham Palace. Now, you have the chance to be treated like a Royalty by playing at the majestic . Enjoy being a subject of the king on this recently launched casino and get bestowed with a welcome offer of up to £500! This is one exquisite online casino where you can play some of the best online slots and earn some royal payouts.

Her Majesty is far from being the only Gooner in the Royal family in UK. While speaking about sports to a group of local kids in Wellington at the New Zealand Government House, Prince Harry revealed that most of the Royal family are die-hard fans of Arsenal. However, this might not well be the case and it can be up for open debate. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is a well-known supporter of Aston Villa, and has even appeared on the pitch and shook hands with the players.

Whether Prince George of Cambridge or Princess Charlotte of Cambridge like it or not, they are also Villa fans. Aston Villa has made football shirts with the name George written on the back and he got the honour of having the number one. On the other hand, Princess Charlotte got a smaller shirt printed with HRH and the number two. Most would believe that the Duchess would follow the same path as her husband and support Aston Villa, but it’s not really the case here. A couple of years back, while Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge was visiting a mental health centre for children, she revealed she in fact supports Chelsea. She even got a high five from a young boy when they discovered that they both supported the same team.

Surprisingly, on the other hand, . Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne once admitted he has given his royal approbation to Burnley. He revealed that a group of his charities, which include the British Asian Trust, has been busy working in Burnley. And to put any doubt away, he revealed that if there is any British football club that he supports, its Burnley.
