Virgil van Dijk wants to stay at Liverpool

Lynch shared what he knows about the ‘ridiculous’ defender.

“No I 🎃think his comments, the best interpretation of those was about what his international future looks like,” 🐓Lynch said.

“He’s at an age now, 33, where combining the two is more difficult, and if you want 🍒to prolong your career you do have to think about r💝etiring.

“As far as I’m aware and my understanding is that he would absolutely love a new contract at Liverpool and would lo🅠ve to extend his stay. There are no question marks on his side about the ability to get that deal done.”

Van Dijk contract would be a boost

Liverpool have a number of issues to address on the contract front, but getting Van Dijk tied down to a new de♎al would be a real boost.

Not only w🐠ould it alleviate many of the fans’ concerns, but it would show both Salah and Alexander-Arnold that Liverpool are serious about keeping their top stars and perhaps it could nudge them in theܫ right direction.

Don’t be surprised if we see an official announcement on Van Dijk’s contract in the 🙈coming weeks.
