Report: Tottenham make contact for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew
Tottenham have reportedly made🌃 an enquiry to Championshꦏip side Swansea City about their attacker Andre Ayew.
, Spurs have made contact about the 30-year-old.
It is understood that manager Jose Mourinh🐬o wants to strengthen his squad in January and has identified the Championship star as a potential ไtarget.
The report explains that Spurs striker Harry Kane could be sidelined thro💞ugh injury for up to six weeks, meaning ♊they may have to dip into the transfer market to sign a replacement.
The report adds that ꦇAyew could fꦆind a move to North London “too hard to turn down”.
Ayew has been in great form this season for promotion-chasing Swansea, scoring 11 🎐goals in 25 games across all competitions.
He’s a versatile attacker that can play as a winger or centre-forward and is a decent fꦫinish☂er.
The Ghana international has spent time in the top-flight before during spells with Swansea and West Ham, but his form was very much up and down๊.
His Premier League record sits at 21 goals🧸 in 89 top-flight matches and unsurprisingly he’s founds it much easier in the second-tier.

TBR’s View:
This report should be taken with a pinch of salt by Spurs fans, as it seems strange that Mourinho would turn to Ayew as the man tꦬo help fix his s⛄olution in attack.
The experienced attacker may have rediscovered some form this campaign at Swansea, but he struggled out on loan at Fenebache last season and it seems unlikely hꦗe could make a serious Premier League return.
Spurs do have 💜Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son in attack to help cover the Kane void, but perhaps the club should look at signing a younger talent if they want more competition at striker in the long-run.
